A letter from our founder & CEO
One tweet on November 18, 2010, set me on the path to where I am today. In that tweet, I casually shared my experiences from New York. That tweet connected me with Mirjam Giesbers, the director of Rabobank. What started as a simple Twitter exchange about New York eventually led to a strong relationship and opened the door for me to conduct workshops at the bank's staff day. This brief Twitter interaction taught me two important lessons: social media makes it easy to connect with people who might otherwise be out of reach, and the lines between professional and personal are often just an illusion.
This tweet inspired me to introduce my very first concept, which is for marketers and communication experts to work together with their teams to position their brands on social media better. I later expanded on this idea in my book, the Social Shift.
Since then, time has flown by, and that initial idea has evolved into a fully developed marketing framework: Social Reach Optimization. 🚀
This framework includes a learning environment, small tasks, and software that all come together to help develop and implement a social media strategy that puts your employees and business partners at the center. It provides clear and practical steps to increase organic reach within an extensive network through strategic social media posts.
👀 The result? Brands become more authentic and personal. Sharing engaging online stories helps achieve business goals in a way that’s much more than just business.
Today, this approach isn’t just available to large B2B companies but also to small and medium-sized businesses looking to build a successful social media strategy.
Let’s embrace the power of social media together and build lasting relationships through genuine stories and inspiring content.
