4 tips for planning your social media posts

Connect your content calendar and strategy

When you created your content strategy, you determined which topics or pillars you wanted to share messages about and how often you wanted to do so. Suppose that your strategy states that you want to share a vacancy four times a month. Simply schedule a vacancy for, say, every Tuesday. By doing this at a consistent time each week, you create recognition and expectation among your audience.

Across all channels, if you post at 11 o'clock in the evening, it is likely to have much less reach than if you post at 12 o'clock in the afternoon. The best days and times vary depending on your audience and social media channel.
